Marianne de Pierres is the author of the multi award-nominated Parrish Plessis and Sentients of Orion series. The Parrish Plessis series has been translated into eight languages and adapted into a Role Playing Game. She also publishes humorous crime under the pseudonym Marianne Delacourt.  Sharp Shooter, the first of her Tara Sharp series, set in Perth, Western Australia was published by Allen & Unwin in September 2009.  2010 will see the publication of her first Young Adult novel, Burn Bright (Random House Australia) and the final in the Sentients series: Transformation Space (Orbit).
