Bruce Elder is an award-winning journalist and writer who has been involved in the writing of more than 50 books, including the Macquarie Dictionary and The A to Z of Who is Who in Australian History.  He is a journalist with The Sydney Morning Herald, specialising in travel and popular culture, and is the director of Walkabout, the Fairfax travel internet site.
