Graeme Aitken was born and raised in New Zealand.  For the past 16 years he has lived in Sydney where he works as the manager of a specialist gay and lesbian bookshop.  He is the author of two novels Fifty Ways of Saying Fabulous and Vanity Fierce which were published in both Australia and the UK. Fifty Ways of Saying Fabulous was released as a motion picture in 2006.
