Duncan Fine is a writer and director.  After a stint in the world of corporate law, he went to NIDA and studied directing.  He subsequently became an affiliate director at the Sydney Theatre Company and wrote and directed several plays.  He now specialises in children’s media and has written for Hi-5, Banbaloo and Playhouse Disney.  He also writes a nationally syndicated parenting column for News Limited.  Duncan co-wrote Why TV is Good for Kids with his partner Catharine Lumby, published by Pan Macmillian in 2006.
