Merridy Eastman

Author and actress Merridy Eastman is a NIDA graduate whose career began in the late 80s with a five-year stint as a Playschool presenter. Having performed in a swag of productions for the Melbourne Theatre Company and the Sydney Theatre Company over many years, Merridy also appeared on all the usual television comedy dramas and was a regular cast member of Always Greener, Packed to the Rafters and Rake. Merridy has also been commissioned to write for the stage musical Breast Wishes, and has been a contributing writer to anthologies for Penguin’s Thanks for The Mammaries, and Pan Macmillan’s Just Between Us.
