Maryam Master

Maryam Master is a writer with over 20 years’ experience creating work for stage and screen. She wrote the acclaimed stage adaptations of David Walliams’ best-selling books The Midnight Gang, Billionaire Boy and Mr Stink, which all enjoyed sellout seasons at the Sydney Opera House. She also wrote The Incredible Book Eating Boy live show and collaborated with Leigh Hobbs on Horrible Harriet: Live on Stage. Maryam started her career in television, writing over 80 episodes of Home and Away. Since then she has written for many major Australian and international television programs. In 2011 Maryam was selected by Sesame Workshop as the writer for Elmo’s tour of Australia, and wrote Elmo and Ollie for Sesame and Nick Jr. Other TV credits include Hoopla Doopla, Lah-Lah’s Adventures, Blinky Bill, Animalscope, Raggs, Dive Olly Dive, New Macdonald’s Farm, and Bambaloo.
