Nas Campanella

Nas Campanella is the current National Disability Affairs Reporter at the ABC and has been with the ABC for more than a decade working in Sydney and the NSW South Coast. Nas lost her sight when she was six months old and has a sensitivity condition called Charcot-Marie-Tooth which means she can’t read Braille. A versatile journalist, she has been a newsreader, reporter and senior producer for triple J and other ABC platforms. She’s also undertaken special projects with ABC’s International Development, running initiatives for people living with disability across the Pacific. Her love of writing has recently seen Nas dive into the world of children’s literature and screenwriting.

When she is not writing or producing, Nas can be found spending time with her family, doing yoga and enjoying the outdoors.
