Susan Hurley
Susan Hurley has worked in medical research and pharmaceutical industry roles for more than thirty years. She holds Masters degrees in pharmacy and biostatistics and a PhD in epidemiology and health economics. Susan has published more than fifty papers in high-profile journals including The Lancet and is an honorary associate professor at the University of Melbourne. Her writing has appeared in Kill Your Darlings, The Australian and The Big Issue. She was shortlisted for the Peter Carey Short Story Award and an earlier version of Eight Lives, her debut novel, was shortlisted for the UK Caledonia Novel Award. She lives in Melbourne.
