Kate Goossens

Inspired by Jerry Bruckheimer, Kate Goossens completed a science degree. While she didn’t end up in forensics, she did get a PhD in immunology and works for a pharmaceutical company. When she's not working on influenza vaccines and antivenoms for some of Australia’s most venomous snakes, spiders and sea creatures, she spends her time writing, decorating delicious cookies, and wondering what her life would have been like if she'd become a CSI: Crime Scene Investigator, or her dad hadn’t died when she was six.
