Catherine Harris
Catherine Harris is an award-winning writer, audio creator, and producer. Her debut short-story collection, Like Being a Wife, was shortlisted for the Age Book of the Year, the Barbara Jefferis Award, and as a manuscript for the Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards, while her novel The Family Men was widely praised and featured on multiple best-of-the-year lists.
Catherine also produces and co-hosts Sorry, Partner, an acclaimed podcast heard in 167 countries. She has worked as a producer for US public radio and has written and produced audio guides for major museums and for global touring exhibitions, such as Diana: Her Fashion Story (Kensington Palace) and Jacques Louis David (which toured The Met and the Louvre). And she co-created and presented the cultural talk show Deep, which aired on community radio.
Catherine holds a PhD in Creative Arts and has taught writing and literature at several Australian universities.
