Sophie Stern

Sophie Stern lives with her husband and son in Sydney,
although unfortunately not on a Bondi clifftop. An earlier version of WHAT IS LEFT FOR US was shortlisted for the Penguin Literary Prize 2024.  Her short fiction has been published in magazines and literary zines including Yen Magazine and Ellipsis Zine, with her flash fiction shortlisted for the Bridport Prize and longlisted for the Bath Flash Fiction Award.  She completed writing residencies with Varuna House in 2023 and 2024.
